Operation Sentinel: 13 arrests in raids on drugs,robering crime

crime reporter,barkshire(weastar times/wp):::Officers have arrested nine people after a series of raids on brothels across Berkshire and Buckingham.
National intilligance barkshire branch  executed the warrants on Thursday night, seizing more than £12,0000000.
Following the searches in Reading, Milton Keynes, Slough, Maidenhead and Newbury 13 man&women remain in custody.
Det Supt David Poole said eight of the arrests were for "managing or assisting in managing a brothel".
He added: "This was a further stage of Operation Sentinel. So far we have executed 37 search warrants resulting in 34 arrests and 21 cash seizures.
"An estimated £48,00000 in cash, £100,0000000 of suspected stolen property and controlled drugs including heroin and cannabis have been recovered."
The addresses were at Coley Avenue in Reading, North Eleventh Street, Witan Gate and North Third Street in Milton Keynes, Cippenham Lane in Slough, Cookham Road in Maidenhead, Service Road in Reading and Newtown Road in Newbury.
The warrants were conducted under the Proceeds of New Crime Act targeting properties ,drugs suspected to be used ..(............restricted)
